I want to help my friend with a relationship problem but I hate who she likes!?

ok, my best friend is in love with her other best friend, his name is David, her name is Cassidy and I am Quinn, Now me and David HATE each other and annoy each other as much as possible! Cassidy thinks that's our way of hitting on each other so shes mad at both of us. But we aren't hitting on each other! Anyway David likes the school Whore who's name is Saige he gave her a rock shaped like a heart on the last day of school and Cassidy will not stop bitching on and on and on about how she will never get him to like her (it gets pretty annoying!) So I was wondering if there is any way that I can stop hating David and maybe try and get him to see how great Cassidy is and how Saige is a whore but me and David have hated each other for a looonnnnggg time like since we were in 5th grade, we are 18 now! I seriously need yo figure this out though because Cassidy and David are perfect for each other! So, please help me if you can! thanks!
