Joell Ortiz, your opinion, good or bad rapper?

I think he's alright, not really my kind of rap but I'm trying to get into it, because Big Pun's my favorite rapper and they say if anyone can at least relate to him it's Joell Ortiz, thing is I just can't get into it. He's alright, there's better out there, your opinion? Is he really the new Big Pun?
