Is Capoeira a good skill for MMA?

I don't see how the offense would be effective at high level competition because the risks you take of getting caught with a strike or take down. With that being said, I believe any fighter that masters this disciple could benefit very well defensively from the evasive, elusive, and unorthodox movements it uses.
