Is My Friend Jealous of Me?

My friend was unemployed for a while and she finally found a job as a debt collector. I told her last week I had a job interview for working for a city. She's been kind of elusive since then. Yesterday she sent me a chat message on facebook asking how the interview went. I replied but she never replied back. I think she's jealous. I also offered to give her my spare lawn mower because hers needed an expensive repair on hers. She told me once she took it in for repair, she'd let me know if she needed. Never contacted me but I read on facebook that she was mowing her lawn. She's always complaining about her bills and feels sorry for herself. WTF? I'm not employed either but you think she'd at least send me a message saying she's happy I got the interview. There's no guarantee I'll even get the job. Its not my fault she's not more ambitious in finding a better job. What's everyone else's opinions?
